Hartford Home Design is a full-service interior design and residential remodeling studio based in Eugene, Oregon. We bring together thoughtful design, construction expertise, and sharp project management, and a love for livable spaces to transform homes throughout the Pacific Northwest.

Our team has an unrelenting passion for sharpening our skills and delivering exceptional results to our clients. Whether you’re expanding your footprint, reimagining a dated layout, or building something entirely new, we’re here to guide, design, and execute every step with purpose and style.
Hartford Home Design was born out of a deep passion for creating spaces that feel just right. Founder and principal designer Britni Hartford has always been drawn to interiors, from decorating to architectural details.
What began as decorating for friends quickly evolved into full-scale remodels, driven by a knack for creative problem-solving and a commitment to helping people love where they live. Today, we’re a team of designers, builders, and project managers pushing the boundaries of design in everyday living, bringing our clients’ visions to life with heart and high standards.

Emily is a proud Oregon State University alum. Her favorite part of the job is creating things you never would’ve thought of—those unexpected details and fresh perspectives that make a space truly one-of-a-kind. She is passionate about crafting thoughtful, inviting environments that reflect the people who live and work in them.
Outside of design, she is a devoted cat mom, weekend thrifter, book lover, and deeply family-oriented—her loved ones keep her grounded and inspired. Emily values kindness, creativity, and a good sense of humor in everything she does.

Britni at Hartford Home Design is fantastic. She designed a studio space for me that is beautiful and functional. My studio is a smallish space and I need to do several things with it including in-person-sales, teaching photography classes, as well as taking portraits. It all came together beautifully.

Britni and the Hartford Home team helped me with my company’s large office space. I had a bunch of art I wanted up on the walls and had no clue how to go about it with any style. Britni laid it all the artwork out on the floor and then made wonderful vignettes of similarly framed, color compatible and/or themed pieces and then got them up on the walls. She made sense out of chaos and our office space looks fantastic. I would hire Britni and Hartford Home Design again in a heartbeat!!
